Health and wellness, life-long education, and community are the three pillars of the Master Plan Vision. The Master Plan will promote a lifestyle that will result in healthier, happier, and more connected residents. Through a combination of community design and community programming, the plan will set a standard for quality of life. The plan's community structure is organized around its open space system. Open space will contain both places to gather and trails to connect to the communities' amenities. Walking, biking, and horseback riding will be encouraged in the plan and will provide the most convenient means for traveling to amenities located in the community.
The open space system weaves through the middle of the plan neighborhoods resulting in short walks from every home to the primary trail system. The open space system has limited road crossings resulting in a safer pedestrian realm. Early in the implementation of the master plan the open space will take the form of a Spine. Smaller linear parks will connect to the spine from the residences. As the community reaches build-out the spine becomes an open space loop. The advantage of a loop is the ability to link all of the communities' amenities together.
